The High Priestess of Portland.

TL;DR: I’ve done many things and won several awards across science education, content creation, global marketing, spirituality, and sacred text scholarship.

I did all of that while being deeply melanated, very neurodivergent, and raised under abuse.
Yes—it matters.

It means my path was far more difficult than it might’ve been in a preferred body or privileged class. But I still got here.

And that’s how I know you can, too—especially if we do it together.

You can find my professional resume and credentials on LinkedIn.

But if you’d just like to catch up…

Hi, I’m Lyndsey.

Founderess of The Fab Lab with Crazy Aunt Lindsey—YouTube’s most beloved, longest-running, independently produced children’s science show, established in 2010.

Alongside that, I helped build departments, shape strategy, and source and manage the world’s most influential, excellent, and culture-moving creatives at places like:

  • Nike

  • Wieden+Kennedy

  • MTV Networks

  • XBOX

  • The Gap

That work opened doors for me to teach and speak on creativity, innovation, fundraising, and storytelling at places like:

  • Harvard University

  • Google Inc.

  • TEDx

I also spent seven years in ministry, serving both the oldest and largest nondenominational congregation in Oregon—another, one of the most renowned churches in the world.

These days, I’m focused on:

  • Finishing my dissertation at an Ivy League seminary on patriarchy and sacred text

  • Hosting The ALTЯ, a quarterly gathering for spiritually aligned women

  • Tending to the business, visibility, and spiritual health of New Earth’s pioneering leaders

All of this comes from cups filled with decades of experience, earned wisdom, and just a little bit of magic.

I’ve been in Portland, Oregon for 13 years.
But I serve the whole world.

Practice. Not Performance.

There’s a reason so many cookie-cutter strategies + “shaman” collapse under the weight of real vision.

What I offer is rooted in lived experience, measurable success, and spiritual integrity.

We align your chakras and your spreadsheets.
We clear your blocks and build your decks.
Because real peace of mind comes when your vision is both energetically sound and financially viable.

I’m not working from theories I read in books written by people who’ve never raised a dollar, launched a business, or grown an audience - but are good at performing. What I share I’ve actually done, for myself and witnessed others replicate successfully. From holding senior and supporting roles at some of the world’s biggest brands, to helping small businesses keep their doors open and futures funded, to healing my own limiting beliefs from trauma and social conditioning and advising others on their journeys, to turning a two year stint babysitting into one of the internets most adored educational resources.

I’m often asked:

  • It’s both.

I go by either spelling. One was given. One was reclaimed. You can think of it as the same name, two timelines.

Also, I’m a Gemini. So. That.

  • I build sacred systems for a healed world. That includes:

    • Spiritual strategy

    • Business consulting

    • Multimedia content creation

...all expressed through my three primary platforms:

    The ALTЯ

A digital and living altar space for women reclaiming spiritual power, ancestral truth, and embodied leadership. This is where I teach, preach, and gather for healing and collective care.

    The Sowing Room

My business strategy and soul-alignment consultancy. Here, I help women-owned brands root their offerings in clarity, structure, and sustainable income—without burning out.

    The Fab Lab

My legacy science show for kids, reviving curiosity, confidence, and creativity in the next generation. (Because science is still fabulous.) EST. 2010

Each is a room in the same house—a house I’m building to restore beauty, balance, and abundance to the world.

  • Technically, I’m just a biblical scholar (and a very good listener). But that only happened because I got kicked out of Sunday School too many times for asking questions that didn’t have answers in the back of the study guide.

That and my Mom wouldn’t let me call myself an atheist without a good reason why. (Hypocrisy + colonial violence wasn’t enough for her.) So I read. And I ADHD-verbally processed. A lot. Right into dissertation 30 years later.

Even when I was officially in ministry, I could never fully call myself “a Christian” or “religious,” much to the churches agreement and annoyance. Which is not entirely unlike the crucified Jesus…but I’ll save that spiel for the blog.

My scholarship spans science, communications, early modern Renaissance history, religion as sociology, and the deep architecture of belief and psychology. I’ve always been drawn to the patterns beneath doctrine—and liberation beyond dogma.

I don’t separate our spiritual selves from our “real lives.”
We behave what we believe—whether we’re acting from awareness and wholeness, or still animated by trauma, fear, and cultural programming.

Faith, vision, and a regulated nervous system are what carry us across the threshold.
    That’s not religion—that’s alchemy.
It’s what every prophet and healer has tried to show us, over and over.

But I do have faith—faith that this might just be the era we finally get it right. My prayer is that you’ll join me.

I have another question

You gotta get the roots before you get the fruit.

- Matthew 7:17-20 + Qveen Herby, Mission
